Full-time locksmith (or apprentice), MON-FRI 9amto 5:45pm
Wage: $20-$28 per hour, based on experience
Location: El Segundo, near LAX airport
Benefits: Paid sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance after 3 months, paid vacation after first year.
Job Duties: Work both inside shop with customers and outside with other technicians on jobs.
Skills: Should have general knowledge of door hardware and keys. Will train to rekey common types of locks, IC cores (knowledge of high-security hardware a plus), maintain and adjust key machines. You must work well with others and provide good customer service as you work the front counter and make keys, answer phones, operate the cash register, stock parts, and assist technicians in the field, eventually leading to run jobs solo in our van.
Must speak English.
Valid driver’s license required.
